   FIRST OF ALLL!!! this is for a VIDEO camera NOT a digital slr! it wont focus its for video i have the panisonic hmc40 with htis lens and a warming fliter to act as a spacer and i have a step up ring be cuz my camera is 43mm and this lens works perfectt true fisheye about 160 170 degrees warming filtwr makes my videos crisp and beautiful1 i love this lens!

   Fits my Canon HF S20 easily and perfectly. Keep in mind it’s not a full function lens, but a wide angle add-on. With it mounted, the only “in focus” zoom position is all the way back, or at the widest setting. It’s ideal for taking inside pictures and video, and taking in the entire area, close up. For instance from the back of my boat I can include, in one shot, all the occupants, and some of the surrounding scenery. The edges, and more distant shots, can have an inaccurate prismatic effect, which is compounded by installing it over any other lens protection, such as a Haze or Polarized add on. Sun hitting the front of the lens in this instance can create a much less than desirable effect. The lens is glass, and quite heavy, thus changing the camera balance significantly, but not enough to be a problem in most cases. It looks impressive mounted, comes with it’s own lens covers and a nice little bag to keep it in. So if you just want to take pics or video in a restricted area, and get the effect of a much larger area, this is a very economical choice. I can’t wait to use it for the pumpkin carving party, Thanksgiving dinner, and Christmas get together!

   Works great on my Panny TM90 using a step ring. Does not zoom through so only good for extreme wide.
